Writing isn’t just the cathartic release I get from spilling my thoughts onto a blank page,
It isn’t just enjoying watching people read my feelings and connect,
Being able to show my poems on an international stage, or as an artist gaining respect
Don’t get me wrong those things are great,
But for me it’s testing the limits of what I can and could create,
Pushing my own boundaries and preconceptions
And seeing improvement with every piece that I write –
Is the most satisfying and rewarding thing that I could ever hope to sight.
